GCH Open billiards and snooker from May 9
MUMBAI, May 7: The Garware Club House Open Billiards and Snooker Championship gets underway from May 9, 1998 at the Garware Billiard8217;s Room. This was announced by secretary of Garware Club House, Suresh Mehta, at a press conference held on Wednesday.

The Rs 48,000 championship for men and juniors, to be sponsored by Alpic Finance, will be prelude to the Om Agarwal Snooker Championship. The top five players here will get a direct entry to the main draw of Om Agarwal. Winner here in the men8217;s event will pocket Rs 5,000 with Rs 3,000 for the runner-up.
