Sensex dips 46 pts

With day traders keeping away from the stock markets, share prices and volumes took a plunge by 46 points on Tuesday. Adding to the worries, reports about the weak monsoon also played havoc with the market sentiment. Day traders and arbitrageurs boycotted the trading session, demanding a rollback of the 0.15 pc turnover tax on all purchases. They are now waiting for the FM to come out with a new tax package following his meeting with the brokers in New Delhi.
