Science fair in Solapur

SOLAPUR, Jan 10: The Superstitions Eradication Committee SEC will organise a science fair during the week-long annual Siddheshwar Mahayatra, beginning here from tomorrow.

SEC working president Narendra Dabholkar said the vidnyan yatra is being organised to educate people about science. He added that this is the first fair of its kind in the State.

There will be displays explaining the science behind various so-called miracles, superstitions related to medicinal plants and herbs, adulteration in food articles and also a stall on scientific toys.
