MUMBAI, DEC 3: Sagar Mhatre of Khalsa Gymkhana set a New Meet Record in the Discus throw of the under-18 boys section in the Bombay City District Annual Athletic Championships being held at University Stadium on Friday. He threw the disc to 41.03 metres, almost 10 metres more than the second-placed Sajid Khan. Sagar Mhatre’s was the only record on the second day of the meet.

EC set to announce Bihar poll dates today; elections likely in fewer phases this time

The Election Commission will declare the polling dates for the Bihar Assembly elections today at 4 pm. The number of phases may be decreased based on input from political parties during the Commission's visit. The term of the Assembly ends on November 22 and the elections will likely take place after the Chhath festival.
