MUMBAI, DEC 3: Sagar Mhatre of Khalsa Gymkhana set a New Meet Record in the Discus throw of the under-18 boys section in the Bombay City District Annual Athletic Championships being held at University Stadium on Friday. He threw the disc to 41.03 metres, almost 10 metres more than the second-placed Sajid Khan. Sagar Mhatre8217;s was the only record on the second day of the meet.

Triple: Mahendra Kendra Vidyalaya 11.90m; Mansur Arfin UBI, Hemant Heble UBI. Discus: Arun Uchil Ace AC 44.20; Hiten Chagali HR; Brinston Miranda LIC. High jump: Mahendra Narvir CR 1.80; Mahendra Pariya Khalsa Gym, Linesh Pathak Ace AC.

Boys Under-20 200: Sandeep Singh Khalsa Gym 2:13.2; Surjit Singh Patter Khalsa, Naresh JanraoRR; 5000: Hitesh Sawant RR 17:44.7; Bhimaji More Khalsa, Mani Kantan RR.
