Safety meet begins

The third workshop on Safety Management in Upstream Operations of the Petroleum Sector8217;, organised jointly by the Oil Industries Safety Directorate, New Delhi and the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd ONGC, began here on Thursday. More than 80 senior officials are participating in the two-day workshop, which was inaugurated by ONGC Director technical R C Gourh. OISD Director Eamp;P Gulab Singh, ONGC Executive Director N Lal and Group General Manager A K D Chowdhary spoke at the inaugural session. Case studies and 17 technical papers will be presented during the workshop.
