RSS bombshell

HYDERABAD, May 11: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh RSS general secretary K S Sudarshan today dropped a bombshell saying that the BJP had planned nuclear test as early as in 1996 during its 13-day tenure.

However, the plans could not materialise as the information leaked to the United States which saw to it that the Vajpayee government did not survive. He charged the US with playing a role in the defeat of the confidence motion in the Lok Sabha two years ago.
