Theatre buffs should prepare themselves for a real treat this month. Q Theatre Productions launches it8217;s maiden venture The Night Thoreau Spent In Jail at the NCPA experimental theatre. The play, written by Jerome Lawrence and Robert Lee revolves around the early life of famous American writer-phiosopher, Henry David Thoreau.

Its soft, creamy formula gives a super sheen finish and keeps your lips feeling soft. Shades range from Copper Glaze Sienna8217;, and Woodsy Wine8217; to Amethyst Smoke8217;. So if you8217;re looking for lips that sizzle this season, Revlon8217;s got them!

Haute encounters

June 3rd saw the grand finale of Sheetal8217;s month-long fashion extravaganza, Haute Spot8217; 99. The store was transformed into a galaxy of stars as some of Boombai8217;s most hip and happening crowd gathered under one roof. The event was the unveiling of the 30 finalists of the Model Watch contest sponsored by the store.

All of these lucky finalists had been carefully selected by a panel of judges comprising of Hemant Trevedi, Sheeta Mallar, Rasna Behl8230; and that8217;s not all, they also had their portfolio shot by ace lensman Atul Kasbekar.

The show, hosted by Rakshanda Khan and Hemant Trevedi saw the young finalists strut their stuff as veterans Dino Morea, Lisa Ray, Noyonika Chatterjee and gang, turned green with envy.

Adding to the entertainment was an exclusive performance by Bangalore8217;s celebrated diva, Priscilla Corner. A fitting end to a wonderful month dedicated solely to fashion.

There8217;s something exciting happening at Flavors, the 24-hour coffee-shop at the Ambassador Hotel in Churchgate and it definitely ain8217;t anything to do with cricket.

Mexican food is the craze at the Restobar with a twist8217; that8217;s what Flavors calls itself. And you can eat all the Tortillas you want 8211; it8217;s all wrapped up in one, beautiful buffet. And all it costs is 250 bucks for lunch and 300 bucks for dinner. Make sure that you carry a lot of antacid, though 8211; Mexican food is really spicy!

BFY Badminton For You has pulled off something which no one has thought of yet. They8217;ve launched India8217;s and probably the World8217;s first Sports Card. The card was launched with an intent to encourage active participation in sports. The subscription is a meagre Rs.500 a year, renewable annually.

With it you get discounts at various sports outlets, gymnasiums and health clubs across Mumbai and also events organised by BFY. Not to mention discounts on adventure sports like paragliding, rafting and trekking as well as aquatics.
