Rome, April 27: Ronaldo has hinted he might consider leaving Inter Milan if the club8217;s angry fans repeat attacks against him and other players. Ronaldo8217;s car was hit by a bottle thrown by a fan as it was leaving the San Siro Stadium. His parents, sister and nephew were also in the car but no one was hurt.
8220;I can accept the whistles, they may have even been justified on that occasion8230;Since I and the whole team played horribly against Udinese,8221; the Brazilian said. 8220;But what really hurt was the attempted assault as I was leaving the stadium,8221; he told the Gazzetta Dello sport daily.
8220;In this climate of tension and fear, somebody could decide to leave Inter,8221; he added. Ronaldo was speaking from Spain, where he is set to play for Brazil against his old club Barcelona.
Inter issued a statement last evening, deploring the fans whothrews stones and bottles at players8217; cars.
8220;Violence8230;is absolutely unacceptable. The club points out that a few hooligans fortunately are not representative in any way of Inter fans as a whole.
