
Formula One championship leader Fernando Alonso led a Renault one-two in the first of two practice sessions on Saturday for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Spaniard, with four wins from seven races, lapped the Gilles Villeneuve circuit in one minute 15.582 seconds with Italian team mate Giancarlo Fisichella 0.176 slower.
