Renault one-two

Formula One championship leader Fernando Alonso led a Renault one-two in the first of two practice sessions on Saturday for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Spaniard, with four wins from seven races, lapped the Gilles Villeneuve circuit in one minute 15.582 seconds with Italian team mate Giancarlo Fisichella 0.176 slower.

McLaren8217;s Kimi Raikkonen was third quickest on a hot and humid morning in Montreal. Sunday8217;s race is expected to be a battle between the two teams that have dominated the year so far.
