Rayat team bag overall trophy

Students of Rayat Institute of Engineering and Information Technology have brought sporting laurels to the institute by winning the overall trophy in the Punjab Technical University Inter College Table Tennis Tournament for girls. Kirandeep, Mamta Bhandari and Kriti Mahajan won the tournament by their superb performances outstaging 14 teams from various engineering and technical institutions which took part in the tournament. Rayat team outclassed IET Bhaddal team by 3-2 in the final to lift the trophy. Kirandeep and Mamta Bhandari were also declared the best players in the tournament and were selected to represent PTU in Inter-University Tournament. nbsp;
