You must be excited by the development?

I’m really looking forward to it. BBC approached me a couple of months ago for the rights. I was very interested because being on world radio means a lot more people will get to hear about the exploits of Feluda.

Rahul Bose will be Feluda’s “voice” while Anupam Kher will “speak” for Lalmohan Ganguli aka Jatayu. Others in the cast include Jackie Shroff, Dalip Tahil and Jaspal Bhatti. Are you happy with the choice of actors?

I can’t comment on that till I hear them but they are all fine, professional actors.

Wouldn’t you have liked more Bengali actors to feature in these plays like Victor Banerji and Sabyasachi Chatterjee?

My choice would always be Sabyasachi for Feluda.

Any more Feluda films in the pipeline?

I plan to make at least 2-3 more, and fast, before Sabyasachi gets too old.
