Rare bird species spotted in Tamilnadu

MADURAI, Jan 27: A rare and endemic avain species has been sighted by a wildlife photographer in Tamil Nadu. The bird, Ceylon Frogmouth, whose presence has not been recorded in the State in the past has been found by K Ramachandran, a wildlife photographer of Rajapalayam in Virudhunagar district. He said he found the bird during a recent visit to Anaimalai Top Slip.
