Actor Priyanka Chopra has been doing a lot of modelling lately. Besides living the life of a clotheshorse in Madhur Bhandarkar8217;s film Fashion, she recently walked the ramp for designer Vikram Phadnis at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. 8220;I almost felt that Madhur would jump out from the audience and yell action. It was so chaotic being under the lights with people staring at you,8221; smiles Chopra, who was promoting the film at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. Dressed in a purple off-shoulder dress, she fielded questions about Fashion. 8220;It is not a documentary-drama based on any particular model8217;s life,8221; insists Chopra.

She plays Mugda Mathur, a girl from Chandigarh who goes to Mumbai to fulfil her dream of becoming a supermodel. 8220;I can relate to the character because I was also from a small town and had dreams of becoming an engineer. Fate had other plans and I joined the fashion industry when I was 17,8221; she says.

Though Chopra had a short stint in modelling, lasting six months, she says she misses the chaos of fashion shows. But shooting for Fashion was hard work. 8220;Madhur would allow us five or six retakes for every scene,8221; she says. Chopra has a slew of films lined up for release, which includes Tarun Mansukhani8217;s Dostana where she turns up the heat on a Miami beach. 8220;Dostana is a movie of fun, frolic and masti,8221; says she. The debacle of Love Story 2050 is finally behind her.
