Rains continue for second day

VADODARA, July 13: Torrential rains lashed almost all parts of the district for the second consecutive day here on Tuesday. According to the district flood control room here, Karjan and Sankheda talukas recorded more than 150 mm rains during the past 24 hours ending at 8 am on Tuesday, while Dabhoi and Waghodia talukas recieved more than 50 mm rains.

Karjan recorded 160 mm (total rainfall so far 330 mm), Jetpurpavi 21 mm (101 mm), Dabhoi 70 mm (168 mm), Chhotaudepur 3 mm (88 mm), Naswadi 12 mm (132 mm), Padra 11 mm (51 mm), Vadodara 9 mm (116 mm), Waghodia 75 mm (206 mm), Savli 9 mm (197 mm), Sinnor 3 mm (86 mm), Sankheda 152 mm (320 mm) and Kwant 5 mm (89 mm).
