Railways humbled

Rajasthan today defeated Railways by registering a one-wicket victory in the Central Zone Ranji Trophy one-day cricket match at the Usha Raje Cricket Ground here. In a thrilling encounter, Rajasthan reached a modest target of 221 set by Railways in the penultimate over of the match.

Electing to bat first, Railways lost first three wickets in just 6.2 overs with the board reading just 13. Chasing the victory target, Rajasthan openers Siddharth Joshi and Rohit Sharma put up 36 runs for the first wicket to give their team a confident start.
