NEW DELHI: In an unprecedented move, the Railways today sought a CBI inquiry into the Gaisal train disaster earlier this month after a statutory probe suggested that 8220;any criminal intent8221; behind the established negligence and lack of alertness on the part of railway staff needed to be further investigated.
