
New telecom tariff deferred
NEW DELHI: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has decided to defer implementation of the new telecom tariff structure for cellular and basic services by three to four weeks following representations from the private telecom industry and the Department of Telecom. TRAI will issue the fresh notification on Tuesday giving the new dates for implementation of its modified tariff order. The new tariff structure is likely to now come into effect in the last week of April or early May.

NEW DELHI: The main accused in the killing of Australian missionary Graham Steins and his two sons in Orissa, Ravindra Pal Singh alias Dara Singh, has offered to surrender before authorities if he is found guilty by Wadhwa Commission. In an interview to a private TV channel, Dara said he was not present in Manoharpur during the attack.
