Menuhin dies of heart failure
BERLIN:Yehudi Menuhin, one of the most brilliant and celebrated violinists of the century, died here on Friday after a heart attack at the age of 82, his agent Hans Adler said. The attack was brought on by a bout of bronchitis, an illness which had frequently affected him. Menuhin was in Berlin to conduct the Warsaw Symphony Orchestra in a concert of music by Brahms and Mendelssohn on Tuesday this week. The concert was cancelled because of his illness.

AGRA: About 100 spectators were injured when the stands on which they were seated collapsed during the shooting of a musical TV serial last evening.Though officials confirmed that only 29 people were injured in the incident, eyewitnesses said that nearly 100 people were injured after the stands collapsed causing chaos in the area.
