Arun Gawli externed

MUMBAI: The Mumbai police served underworld don Arun Gawli with an externment order on Saturday afternoon, which says that he should leave the city within 48 hours. Sources said Gawli will have to leave Mumbai and Thane, though it is not confirmed where he has been externed. The only option left to Gawli is to appeal against the police order to the Government, and if he does not get a stay order here, then he will have to go to court, sources explained.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Government has rejected Nina Pillai8217;s compensation claim for the death of her businessman-husband Rajan Pillai in judicial custody in the Capital8217;s Tihar Jail, as the Justice Leila Seth Commission which probed the case has found the allegations of police torture and brutality to be false and concocted.
