Rabri to prove majority: Laloo
PATNA:
The RJD president, Laloo Prasad Yadav, on Saturday said that his wife, the Chief Minister of Bihar, Rabri Devi, is ready to prove her majority in the State Assembly as and when required. 8220;We have requisite strength of MLAs in the Lower House. We can prove majority on any day,8221; Yadav told reporters .

Preacher assaulted
NEW DELHI: A Christian preacher was allegedly manhandled by some persons while he was conducting a discourse at Khyala village in West Delhi tonight, a top police official said. Ruling out the involvement of any communal outfit in the incident, DCP West District Udai Sahay said Father S John was manhandled when he was holding a religious congregation at the village. The preacher did not sustain injuries, Sahay said .

Cop pushed out
MUMBAI:
A constable attached to the Anti-Extortion Squad of Thane police was pushed out of a local train by unidentified miscreants early Friday. According to the railway control,Raosaheb Sonaji Makakre 30 was pushed out of a CST-Ambarnath local at around 2 am while trying to prevent a group from creating trouble in the local. Makakre was admitted to a hospital in Dombivli.
