India8217;s bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad has said that India were likely to rotate the fast bowlers in the seven-match one-day series against England starting on Friday to preserve them for the two Tests to follow. 8220;We can8217;t take the foot off the gas,8221; he said two days after completing a memorable 2-0 win over Australia.

8220;We8217;ve to take the confidence forward,8221; he said. 8220;But they need enough rest and recovery because it is physically and mentally demanding, particularly for the fast bowlers.8221;

Prasad was confident Indian fast bowling had the depth to maintain the intensity against England. 8220;All the bowlers did very well, it was a great team effort,8221; he said. 8220;We had planned quite a few things, but the way they stuck to plans for long durations was commendable. We showed a lot of intensity. Each and every time, Zaheer and Ishant ran in and hit the crease with purpose,8221; he said. 8220;We had controlled aggression, it did cross the line sometimes but that is what sport is all about.8221;
