Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly might just not make it to the tour party for the tri-series in Sri Lanka starting on July 30. With the South African Justice Albie Sachs setting July 20 as the date for ICC and BCCI to present their submissions, Ganguly is not likely to be considered during the July 18 selection committee meeting.
With the BCCI maintaining that the Indian skipper would only be considered after Sach8217;s verdict, things don8217;t seem to be going Ganguly8217;s way.
The second stage of the hearing will be on July 22 when Justice Sach will receive the written replies. With ICC giving Justice Sachs the powers to decide time-frame to deliver the verdict, it remains to be seen if Ganguly can be re-drafted even if his four-match ban is lifted.
