The Pakistan Cricket Board8217;s preparatory plans for next year8217;s World Cup seems to have run into rough weather with coach-in-waiting Richard Pybus insisting to retain Yawar Saeed as team manager, a difficult request following the team8217;s recent poor showing. Yawar was manager of the team during the tour of England last year when Pybus was the chief coach.
However, the problem facing the board now is that while they are keen to have Pybus take over as coach as soon as possible in place of Mudassar Nazar, they also wanted to have a new manager, The News, quoting PCB sources, reported today.
Brigadier Khawaja Nasir who was team manager in 8216;99 and 2000 was tipped to make a comeback in the same position.
