CHANDIGARH, Feb 26: Some colleges whose players were debarred or disqualified by the Punjab University Sports Committee in its executive committee meeting held recently, are again representing their cases for reconsideration. The PUSU discipline committee will decided upon the cases tomorrow.
It was be recalled that the local Sanatam Dharam College, Sector 32, cricket team was debarred for one year from PU Inter-College meet for fielding an ineligible player. The player in question, who was also banned for one year, would be among other issues on the agenda of the committee.
Similarly, a swimmer of Government College for Girls, Sector-11, is also facing disqualification. According to sources, GCG-11, are also representing their case for reconsideration.
