Pushpinder to lead u-14 side

8220;The organisers had mentioned in their circular the cut off dates as January 1 1984. However, the dates were changed to January 1 1985 at the eleventh hour by the organising committee. So, most of the players did not figured in that bracket 1985 and only one team could be selected,8221; disclosed Jasbir Singh, who was in-charge of the coaching camp.

The coach had selected 40 players for the camp, but at the last moment, nearly half of them were found to be overaged.

However, the players are yet to get their kit for the tournament. When conmtacted, SN Vohra, Secretary, Chandigarh Hockey Association CHA said that the team would get their kit tomorrow.

The other participating states are: Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh. Each state has been invited to field two teams.
