Purse snatched in Mohali

SAS NAGAR, Sept 22: Two unidentified persons snatched the purse of one Rajinder Kaur, a resident of Phase IX, here today. She is also the principal of the anganwari centre in Phase III-B-1.

According to police sources, the duo snatched the purse containing Rs 7,000 and other documents, when Rajinder Kaur was making a phone call from an STD booth in Phase III-A.

A case has been registered in Phase I police station, under Section 356 of IPC. Nobody has been arrested so far and the investigations are on.
