Computapro, An Institute imparting computer education, has opened its new branch at Judson High School at Pimpri. It has a sophisticated laboratory equipped with the latest software and hardware. Internet browsing facility and e-mail account has been provided free of cost to the students. The instituted also provides corporate training and software development facilities.

Blood needed
B-ve blood is urgently required for Snehal, daughter of Dinkar Gawde, a serving soldier who is to undergo open heart surgery. Trekking camps
Zep, a trekking organisation has organised two trekking camps in the Diwali vacation. The first trek is between Bahiri (near Kamshet) and Bhimashankar between October 25 and 30.

The second trek is in Karnataka from Castlerock, Molem sanctuary and Surla ghat between October 24 and November 3. Persons between the age of 12 to 55 years can participate. Road closure
The stretch of Pune-Satara Road from Hotel Panchami to Phule Mansion chowk will remain closed for vehicular traffic till October 17. A statement by the road department of the Pune Municipal Corporation said the repair work was underway and Maharashtra State Electricity Board poles, telephone lines and water pipelines are being shifted.
