NDA vows to shoot8217; them down
Following in the boot steps of Amitabh Bachchan8217;s Major Saab which turned out to be a major flop with the National Defence Academy and Feroz Khan8217;s Prem Agan 8211; both shot partly in NDA 8212; a letter has been sent to the Government of India, requesting that no more film units should be given permission to shoot at the scenic locales of the academy.

8220;It is a nuisance to have a film unit on the campus. This is an Armed Forces training institute and shootings hamper our schedules,8221; said Vice Admiral Arun Prakash. 8220;And at the end of all the inconvenience, if the image conveyed is also a wrong one, there seems no point in allowing it,8221; he added.

The NDA, which had its fill of malis and other staff, stopping work to watch cine stars shine at the time of Major Saab and cadets getting distracted by the charms of Sonali Bendre, has decided not to have any more commercial films shot there. 8220;We are not giving permission at our level, if something comes from Army Headquarters, it cannot be helped,8221; said Vice Admiral Prakash, confessing that he had himself not seen Major Saab 8220;on principle8221;.
