
CHANDIGARH, Feb 4: A lecture on quot;Religious Tolerance in Context of Conversionsquot; was organised by the Punjab University Campus Students Council on the Panjab University campus today.
Three speakers, B.S. Brar, Ramji Singh, Md Raziur Rahman answered questions on the subject. Brar said that as conversions were an individual decision, they should not be forced. Ramji Singh said that we should find solace in our own religion as all religions are based on the same principles. Speaking on the basics of Islam, Rahman stressed that God is for everyone. He said that religious tolerance was must in a society and everybody should have the right to follow and change his religion by choice.
