CHANDIGARH, Oct 4: Punjab University Campus halted Manipur Students Football Club MSFC good run by handing them 6-0 defeat in their engagement today in the ongoing Chandigarh State Senior football league championship at the Government Model School-23.

MSFC players, who scored 2-0 victory over Captial Club in their match yesterday, were off colours in their outing today and never looked like threatening the rival defence.

Harinder Sodhi scored the first goal for PUC in the 6th minute. Three minutes later Bhupinder Singh increased the margin to 2-0 while Vijay slotted home the team8217;s third goal in the 11th minute.

Harinder scored his second and team8217;s fourth goal in the 21st minute. And Jitender made it 5-0 in the 38th minute. In the later part of the second session, Vijay scored the sixth goal.

Khalsa Sporting Football Club were also impressive in their 6-1 victory over Manimajra Football Club. Parveen shot twice while Sukhveer, Jagjit Harwinder and Charanjit Kumar scored one goal each.

Government College-46 also thrashed Wild Stallion Football Club 6-0.Tejinder struck twice. Arvinder Saini, Vishal, Sohan Negi, Navjot got one each for the winners.
