PU Campus move into final

In the match today, PEC team fell without resistance to PU Campus, who pocketed both the singles in no time. JP Singh PUC got the better of Vaibhav 6-2, 6-0 in the first singles. Gagandeep Wasu consolidated the margin by defeating Nakul 6-0, 6-4 in the second singles.

The duo of Nakul and Tarun, however, put up a better show against the pair of Gagandeep Wasu and JP Singh in the doubles. But that could not save the day for PEC team as the in-form campus players won 6-3, 7-6 7-3.

Tennis trials
The Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association CLTA will conduct trials to select Chandigarh men8217;s and women8217;s team for the forthcoming V National Games to be held at Imphal Manipur from February 14 to 25, at CLTA from December 30 to January 2, 1999.

Entries close on December 28 at the venue.
