Prize distribution ceremony held

CHANDIGARH, May 5: Central Polytechnic, Sector 26, held its annual prize distribution ceremony today. Dr S. K. Aggarwal, director, Technical Education, UT, who was the chief guest, distributed the prizes to students who topped their fields of study.

, and to blood donors, sportspersons and NCC cadets. He emphasised entrepreneurship and stressed on providing quot;mobile workshopsquot; to students who passed out from the institute. Aggarwal also released a brochure of the institute.

S.L. Sapra, principal of the polytechnic, read out the annual report of the institute.

A colourful cultural programme including theme-based dances, skits and songs was also presented.
