'Wang' is the most popular surname in China,with 95 million Wangs across the world's most populous country,according to a study. The study released yesterday by the China Fuxi Cultural Research Association said that 'Wang' was the most popular surname followed by 'Li' and 'Zhang' respectively. Twenty-one per cent of the country's population has one of the three surnames,according to the study. China is the world's most populous country with 1.3 billion people.
