Pune FC continue home run

Pune FC bounced back to winning ways with a drama-filled 1-0 win over Bengaluru FC in an I-League Round-9 encounter at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi,Pune. Substitute winger James Meyer scored the only goal of the match in the 71st minute to hand Pune FC all three points and a fourth consecutive home win. Both goalkeepers saved a penalty. Pune FCs Arup Debnath was the Man of the Match for his performances under the bar,which included an injury-time penalty save. Pune FC moved to second place with 16 points,while Bengaluru FC drop to third with 14.

Mumbai FC went down 0-1 to Mohammedan SC in an I-League Round-9 encounter at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. A well-taken penalty by striker Josimar Martins in the 35th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides. Mumbai FC dropped to tenth place with 7 points while the hosts rise up to seventh with 10 points.
