Hamilton accepts blame for collision with Button

Hamilton accepts blame for collision with Button at Canadian Grand Prix.

McLaren Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton has admitted that the incident with teammate Jenson Button at the Canadian Grand Prix was his fault, and said that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The damage from the collision had forced Hamilton to retire after just eight laps of the rain-soaked race. The 26-year-old had already escaped punishment earlier after a collision with Red Bulls Mark Webber.

When they had the long break Jenson came up to the room and just said: Sorry about that I didnt see you. And I said: Yeah my fault entirely,I was in the wrong place really at the wrong time, and thats it. Were good team mates,I think, Hamilton told BBC Radio 5. Hamilton had escaped a ban after his two crashes during the Monaco Grand Prix a fortnight ago by apologizing.
