Fun night-outs with colleagues boost teamwork

In the poll of 2,000 UK workers,60 per cent admitted that they worked harder in the build-up to a business bash,to feel they have earned it.

Four in 10 were eager to find out what their teammates were really like,and had more fun than they expected with colleagues.

Offices can suffer a lot from internal politics or people who dont make the effort to connect, Ian Cowley said.

Its good to see that getting to know our co- workers impacts positively on our performance and that a fun office can actually be more productive, Cowley added.
