Sydney: The future of embattled coach Tim Nielsen will be among a range of issues discussed by Australian cricket chiefs as they demand answers for their disastrous Ashes campaign,reports said on Sunday. The CA board will meet in Melbourne on February 8 and according to one unnamed official,will seek answers from its management and coaches on Australias dramatic slide from first to fifth in the Test rankings within two years,reports said.

Maliks assets to be probed

Karachi: Shoaib Malik assets are now under investigation by the police on orders of a session court in Lahore. The SHO of the Gulberg police station has been directed by the session court to report back to it on January 24 with details of Maliks assets after it admitted a petition for hearing. Advocate Ishtiaq Chaudhary said the batsman was not considered for the World Cup because of corruption charges. Agencies
