A seminar on ‘‘Challenges to the Print Media in the New Millennium with reference to Small and Medium Newspapers’’ was organised here on Thursday last. With speakers like Press Council of India Chairman Justice K. Jayachandra Reddy, Indian Newspaper Society (INS) Chairman Pratap G. Pawar, The Tribune Editor-in-Chief Hari Jai Singh, the seminar focused on the problems of the print media and offered practical solutions to them. The chief guest was Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh. Other participants included, INS Secretary General P.K. Lahiri, Small & Medium Newspapers Committee Chairman Jagjit Singh Dardi and The Punjab Kesari Editor-in-Chief Vijay Chopra.
