Post haste

With Tourism Minister Ambika Soni at the centre of most talks relating to the much-awaited Cabinet reshuffle, little-known officers in her personal staff capitalised on these rumours to get their work done. One such officer managed to get the deputation of his brother, an employee in the Press Information Bureau, extended in his home state of Andhra Pradesh. The deputation of this PIB staffer had expired and he had been summoned back to Delhi by the babus of the I038;B Ministry, which controls the PIB. So even though Soni8217;s transfer to the I038;B Ministry in the wake of Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi being made the West Bengal PCC chief remained no more than a rumour, it wasn8217;t very difficult for her staff to arm twist the I038;B babus.
