It might have taken almost over half of the movie to make Priyanka Chopra aka Piggy Chops a showstopper in her recent release- Fashion; but in real life, she is undoubtedly a showstopper already. Dressed in black, the dusky, girl-next-door of Bollywood with her charming appearance at the show of her film Fashion, caught the audience unawares at E-Square when she dropped in-between the screening with director Madhur Bhandarkar and Mughda Godse.

The model-turned-actor who plays the lead in Fashion, a story a super model, however comments that despite the modeling background, she had to put in extra efforts to get ready for the role. 8220;I had been a model for only four months before I got into films, so in a way I still had to prepare and relearn and rehearse a lot. Seasoned models like Diandra, Alicia and Mugdha gave me tips on the correct walk and precise postures to carry off particular outfits.8221; Chopra is said to be wearing about 137 different outfits for this film. In response to the queries on the murky details of the fashion industry she reveals, 8220;I have been a part of the fashion world, but then in my real life I haven8217;t come across most of the situations that are shown in the film.8221; She further adds, 8220;Sometimes I did not agree with what I was portraying in the film and that really affected me after a shoot.8221;

Having started her acting career with films like Andaaz and Aitraaz followed by a string of films like Big Brother, Love Story 2050, God Tussi Great Ho, Chamku and Drona that failed to do well at the box office, Chopra justifies her move to Madhur Bhandarkar8217;s brand of filmmaking as, 8220;Acting for me is about reinvention. I want to experiment with as many roles as possible. I have done action, thrillers and comedy. I have in fact played a villain as well. Fashion is slightly more intense woman oriented story and I felt it was a challenging role. My next film Dostana is again a complete entertainer. I like to keep people guessing.8221;

So what8217;s next? And she says candidly 8220;I like to work in films executed on a nice big scale as it helps to project the director8217;s vision better. My next film would be Dostana, which is releasing this month after which Kaminay and What8217;s your Rashee would hit the screens next year.8221;
