
PANCHKULA, May 22: A gang of five youngsters, allegedly picking pockets at apni mandis and bus stands in the township and Chandigarh, has been busted by the district police.
All residents of district Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, two of them are aged 12 and 13yrs. The other accused, Vijay, Tattar and Lakshman are aged between 19 and 20yrs.
According to Panchkula Superintendent of Police, Aloke Mittal, Rs 3,800 were recovered from the accused. Three cases of pick pocketing have been registered against them.
