
NEW DELHI, April 27: V M Saluja, photojournalist and freedom fighter, died due to cardiac arrest here on Monday. Saluja was a pioneer in photo feature service in Asia and established the first photo feature agency Pana India. He was in the Indian National Army of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and was imprisoned four times. He was released under general amnesty following Independence. He is survived by his wife and three children. The last rites will be performed on Thursday at the Arya Samaj Mandir, Kasturba Nagar, in Defence Colony at 5 pm.
