PUNE, March 1: Parvez Shaikh emerged the fastest runner in the recently concluded athletic meet organised by the Poona Inter Offices Sports Association PIOSA, at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi.

In the final he clocked 11.43 seconds to bag the title, putting aside the challenge of Ajinkya Kamble CWPRS and Pravin Gaikwad PCMC.

Central Excise bagged the overall team championship aggregating 88 points, while Ranjana Khaire Central Excise annexed the individual championship for women accumulating 25 points.

The men8217;s individual championship was a tie between teammates Parvez Shaikh and Datta Sarde, both belonging to Income Tax, Pune.
