Rebel Samajwadi Party leader Beni Prasad Verma could find himself in the dock soon as a Parliamentary Committee is expected to finalise its report on him at its meeting on Thursday.

The Lok Sabha Privileges Committee, headed by senior Congress MP V Kishore Chandra Deo is also likely to take up the case of rebel Congress MP from Haryana Kuldeep Bishnoi whose disqualification has been sought by the party.

Bishnoi, son of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, had announced in 2007 that he had resigned from the Bhiwani Lok Sabha seat after he made a scathing attack on Congress leadership.

Verma’s disqualification has been sought by the SP for floating Samajwadi Kranti Dal during the assembly polls in 2007. He has been elected from Kaiserganj in Uttar Pradesh.

He has failed to appear before the Committee thrice earlier and the panel is now in no mood to give any more extension for him to give his side of the story.
