If anything, the number of foundation stones Lalu laid recently seems to indicate the wily politician has gauged the prospect of early polls. But Lalu had more than just the fear of elections alone in mind. His foundation ceremonies lay the groundwork for his planned agitation against Nitish Kumar’s Government. With October 28 already declared as the day for the “Chetawni rally” in Patna, Lalu has also been inspiring workers to hold their first major rally against Nitish.
