NSS camp concludes

CHANDIGARH, Oct 5: A 10-day NSS camp organised by Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, concluded at Raipur Kalan, here today.

C.L. Narang, co-ordinator, NSS Punjab, who was the chief guest on the occasion, emphasised upon the need for a scientific temperament and gender justice. He gave away the prizes to the winners of various competitions. Dipti Arya was declared the best camper.

The students at the campworked on cleanliness, adult education, health awareness and the formation of volunteer village group. The talks and orientation seminar on skin problems, Hepatitis-B, woman and health, environment and hygiene, consumer forum and rights and youth and moral education were organised.
