NSIT tech fest gets under way

One of the competitions, 8216;Carnage8217; involved teams creating their own remote-controlled cars saw many innovative ideas, with basic four-wheeled machines being created out of items like notebook covers and pens. Another quirky event was 8216;Complicato8217;, where participants were required to devise a complicated answer to a simple problem. The task given to the participating teams was to blow out a lit candle.

Teams devised levers and adjusted wires to create twelve-step procedures to blow out a candle. Apoorv Kansal, a participant said, 8220;It8217;s really not simple. We are using a water balloon, levers and a fan to blow out the candle, and have to make sure the angles, distance, etc, are just right.8221;
