London, May 12: Sachin Tendulkar today dismissed all speculations about his fitness saying he was doing fine and looking forward to give off his best in the World Cup starting on Friday.Tendulkar, who made a polished 91 against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge yesterday, said there was nothing wrong with his left calf, a blow to which saw him miss out on fielding during the hosts' batting.``I am fully fit. I did not take the field since I needed to put ice pack and ensure that no blood clot takes place,'' said Tendulkar assuringly, in his typical quiet and confident manner. Speculation has raged on Tendulkar's fitness since he missed out matches in the Pepsi triangular series and in Sharjah because of a severe back injury before coming to England with the Indian squad for the World Cup.Team doctor Ravndra Chadha too has given the green signal to Tendulkar on his fitness, suggesting the master batsman has no worry on this count.Team manager Brijesh Patel, when contacted on his cellular phone, appeared irritated by all this concern over the champion's fitness for what he believed was only ``a minor blow''.``It was just a bruise,'' said Patel. ``Sachin is fine and he would attend all practice sessions and nets before the important game against South Africa at Hove on Saturday.''The team was scheduled to leave for Hove this evening. The players were in London for a day, sightseeing, meeting friends and relatives, and generally shopping after they were given a day off from cricket by the team management.
