No smoking

The Ministry of Health 038; Family Welfare has decided to target senior officials, including joint secretaries, who smoke inside the premises of Nirman Bhawan. The plan to conduct 8220;surprise checks8221; follows complaints from Class III and IV workers, who have said that while they are challaned for smoking, their senior officers get away with it. 8220;If caught, a fine of Rs 200 will be imposed on the officers,8221; said an official involved in the exercise. The problem, however, is who will bell the cat as those involved in the inspection drive are junior-level officials.
