To begin with, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation needs to widen the roads and make them more strong and robust so that they can live through the monsoons.

Concretisation is the only solution available and it should start now, so that by next year our roads are ready to face the annual fury. Also, there8217;s not enough space Mumbai has. And this crunch has made Mumbaiites witness problems which were nowhere in sight till a couple of decades ago. Lack of proper water drainage is one problem that all the suburbs face without an exception. This makes the problem of bad roads worse. For, both of them are related.

Most importantly, the city needs to have children parks, centres and sports complexes so that our youth has entertainment options other than the streets. Even stray dogs should be given a proper home. There should be facilities to keep them healthy, giving people a choice to take them as pets.
